Wrap Up
Our last night with our guides was spent in a simple guest house in the tiny community of Rose Harbour .
We enjoyed wood-fired hot showers!
Goetz's guest house.
A fabulous dinner at Susan's kitchen. Goetz was kind enough to play guitar for us.
Rose Harbour was a busy whaling station during the first half of the 20th century, and much of the machinery remains. Now it's home to only a handful of people.
Our last morning — a beautiful rainbow!
Exploring Rose Harbour
Our flight home was temporarily stalled by engine troubles in the motorboat, but Goetz was there to get it working for us!
The flight home gave us a chance to see our Rose Inlet campsite from the air.
One last night in Sandspit, at Bonnie's place — the Seaport B&B. We put together some goodies for a care package to be sent out to our wonderful guides.
A huge thank you to our guides Gord, Dan, and Christine of Butterfly Tours !
