Arrival

An international flight from our home in Seattle, WA takes us to the tiny town of Sandspit!

We stretched our arms with a beach walk around the airport. A friendly local dog followed us the whole way, and liked to eat Geoff's shoelaces.

The next day we took the ferry north across the straight to Graham Island where we visited the new Haida museum. Photos weren't allowed in the museum.

At low tide, Sandspit's seashore exposes many colorful creatures. We saw starfish of many shapes and colors, including ones with more or fewer arms than the usual five.
