Morning - surveying. First day on the Playa - job one is to survey what was to become our village.

Broken RV transmission part — the plastic sensor that decides which gear the transmission got smashed, so the RV won't start. I managed to fix it with, epoxy glue, some screws, plus a jumper wire to fool the engine into starting in any gear (not just park or neutral).

Evening - semi arrives. The tractor-trailer semi with all our camp belongings arrives, and many hours are spent unloading it.
