Shedroof Divide Trail

Hiking the Shedroof Divide Traile See in Google Maps  See on a USGS topographic map  See in Google Earth   48.7975, -117.1277  past Round Top Mountain, and bushwhacking to the summit of Mankato Mountain. Even though we were in the clouds, we enjoyed the fall colors. There was evidence of recent bear presence!

Granite Roosevelt Trail

Metaline Falls

Camping on Bangs Mountain

Our map showed a "lookout" on Bangs Mountain, so we drove up in search of a scenic campsite. The lookout spot itself was mostly blocked by trees, but we found a great view spot just south of there.
